Mrs. Kia Barnes Ladan is a retired high school administrator from the Prince George’s County Public School system (PGCPS). She relocated to the tri-state area (Maryland, Virginia and District of Columbia) in the mid ninety’s, from Philadelphia, PA.

Now married, with a beautiful daughter named, Jasmine, who is currently attending Lincoln University, PA, Mrs. Barnes, as she is affectionately called by her colleagues, in her spare time enjoys reading. She is currently working on the production of collections of children’s books.
